SKETCHING ANALYSIS

The architectural language of the past plays a significant role in the present. Different styles in architecture mark the different periods of its history. The constants throughout these periods denote the defining principles of good design. Hence, through this research project, I understand a specific type of architecture is indicative of a particular age that may have been influenced by the social, religious, or cultural context of that time. For instance, the Palladian style and several modern architectural pieces exhibit elements of the Greek temple style.
